Contence Page Steps
I first added a title to the page, I used the the same font as I did for my mast head as a sense of
conuity to the magazine as well as centering it so its one of the mane focal points.
I then added the images. I have again used frames for these photo as i belive it looks better.
The last step was to add the text and page references. I used the American Typewriter font to do this
and continued to use the same colours as my colour scheme
DPS steps
To start the prosses I added the artical headline, this was done in the American Type Writer
font in a large size, so it stands out.
I then added the photos to my dps pages. I did this using the idea layout plan I did before
creating any of the steeps.
The last step was to layer and add the text from the gig review I wrote.

My double Page spread article
Ed Sheeran is one of the most popular acoustic artists around. With his
début album '+' still selling around the world and holding a place in
the UK top 40 after a year, we thought it was about time we saw him live.
We arrived to a packed house at The Forum (HMV venue) in Kentish Town,
London. Not the best live music venue in the capital. Auditorium style
seating makes you feel you are about to hear a lecture on the big bang
theory from some mad scientist instead of going out to dance in the
aisles with friends and leaving with that happy glow only the best of
music can give you.
Our crew were surprised by the mixed crowd. We all clearly expected a
group of teenage girls screaming at the top of their voices in skinny
jeans and high heeled shoes.
But to our surprise there was only a small number of obsessed giggling
young females alongside hard core fans and gig goers with a love for his
talent. No matter which genre they fell into – each and every member of
the audience were all loud and eager to see the red head and knew every
word and note to each and every song.
Dressed casually in baggy faded jeans, a black T shirt with Nike
high-tops, Sheeran was not a striking figure. But once he started
strumming his small size Martin & Co acoustic guitar the red head became
immense.
He didn't have much difficulty introducing his backing band during his
sold-out performance as there wasn't one, just little old Ed on a
acoustic guitar singing how it should be with his loop pedal and the
audience – or 'the gospel choir' as he calls them.
During one part of the performance he dropped all his electrical
equipment and performed a old Irish folk song totally Acapella. Not a
difficult task for Sheeran who was taken to pubs as an 11-year-old where
he stood on the bar and was told to perform traditional Irish numbers.
Sheeran then went on to perform a truly deep song in which the audience
were amazed by. Asking them to be silent after his song 'you need me'
which they were involved in was a hard task for the Rupert Grint
look-alike, but he eventually got around to it and preformed the song
'small bump'.
The talented singer songwriter later explained to the audience the
meaning behind the song. A friend losing a child and the hard time they
all experienced. It is truly remarkable to be able to write and perform
a song from that prospective.
I had heard in a previous interview with Sheeran that he only ever
writes about personal experiences or something that he has witnessed or
become involved in.
Ed Sheeran is a true song writer who we like here at SSW and if you must
do one thing in 2013 make sure you see him live.

I have also added photos to go with the headlines and edit them to make them look like polorides a little like the used in a magazine I analised. (Although there are two photos of Elllie, the finished front cover wont have this but a a diffrent photo of another person. I did this to show what it would look like).

Front cover prosses (2)
In the second half of the lesson I created a barcode using defont and put on a price of £2 as its what my focus group thought was best. All though the date is usualy near the barcode in the corner in most music magazine i have desided to put it underneath the byline as i feel it looks better, however I have kept the barcode and price in the same place.
It was then time to add my photo to do this i had hold down shift as if i didn the photo would go all picsaleded.
